When summer rolls around in NC it's definitely time to get outside and start grilling. Finding a good fishmonger is a lot like trying to find a secret society. You usually find out about them from other people who know and love one specific fish spot or another.
I've been going to Tom Robinson's Seafood for several years now and the location's decor or outside hasn't changed much as the city around it has. When you see the building from the outside you don't really expect much from the place. I probably wouldn't stop by if I didn't know they sold the freshest catch in the area.
Grilled red drum. I just coat the red drum with some olive oil, sprinkle it with salt and pepper, grill it close to the coals, and finish it with a squeeze of fresh lemon. It's hard to beat!
